How to find every subscription you are paying for
In the US (as of 2026-10-18), start with the store lists that officially show what each platform bills you: Apple Subscriptions (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) and Google Play Subscriptions (Apple Support: Cancel a subscription; Google Play Help).
If a charge is missing from those lists, Apple Support says to search email for “receipt from Apple” or “invoice from Apple,” check which Apple Account was used, or check your bank or credit card statement and contact the company that bills you (Apple Support).
Deleting an app does not cancel billing. Match each statement line to Apple, Google Play or the merchant before you cancel.
Who bills you
| Who bills you | Where to cancel | Official help |
|---|---|---|
| Apple App Store / Apple services | Settings → your name → Subscriptions (or cancel on the web/device paths in Apple Support) | Apple Support |
| Google Play | Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions | Google Play Help |
| Merchant / other company | Company account or billing page; find the biller on your bank/card statement if needed | Apple Support (if not Apple-billed) |
Where to look for subscriptions
Apple-billed subscriptions
- On iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Or follow Apple’s web / Mac / other device paths in Apple Support HT118428.
- If a charge is missing, search email for “receipt from Apple” or “invoice from Apple”.
Google Play–billed subscriptions
- Open the Play Store with the Google Account that was charged.
- Tap profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- On a computer, open Play Subscriptions.
Charges not in Apple or Play
- Check your bank or credit card statement for the company name.
- Cancel with that company (Apple Support’s guidance when the purchase is not from Apple).
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- You have a short list of active subscriptions and who bills each one.
- Apple and Google Play Subscriptions lists are reviewed on the correct accounts.
- Anything you do not want is cancelled on the matching platform.
Sources: Apple Support; Google Play Help.
Common problems
- Wrong Apple or Google account. Sign in with the account on the receipt (Apple Support; Google Play Help).
- Family member’s Apple charge. Only that member can cancel (Apple Support).
- Uninstalled the app only. Billing continues until you cancel in Subscriptions.
