In the US (as of 2026-10-18), 1Password's personal pricing page lists regular annual-billing rates of Individual $3.99/month and Families $5.99/month (up to five members). New customers subscribing on 1Password.com may see a first-year promo of $2.99 / $4.49 per month with annual billing - promotions are not available through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel in your 1Password account billing settings, or in Apple/Google Subscriptions if the store bills you.

A 14-day free trial is available. Uninstalling the apps does not cancel billing.

Export or securely back up anything you need before the paid period ends - cancel turns off renewals but you keep access until the date shown.

How to confirm it worked

You're done when:

  • 1Password billing, App Store or Play shows the plan not renewing.
  • No new 1Password charge posts after that date.

Source: 1Password personal pricing.

Common problems

  • Only deleted the apps. Billing continues.
  • Expected the $2.99 promo on the App Store. Promo is web-only for new annual customers.
  • Cancelled Families and lost shared vault access for everyone. Coordinate with family members before the end date.
  • Cancelled on the website when Apple billed you. Use Apple Subscriptions.
