In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Grammarly Pro costs $30 USD per member per month billed monthly, $60 per three months billed quarterly, or $144 per member per year ($12 average per month) (Grammarly Support: How much does Grammarly Pro cost?). To cancel, sign in, open the Account tab, go to Your account > Subscription, click Cancel Subscription, click Continue, choose a reason, then click Cancel Subscription (Grammarly Support: How do I cancel my subscription?).

Cancelling stops automatic renewal, and you keep paid features until the current subscription period ends; then the account converts to Grammarly Free. Refunds are issued only if required by law.

If you use the Superhuman suite, Grammarly Support says cancelling through your Grammarly account applies across the other Superhuman apps too.

How to confirm it worked

You're done when:

  • You still have Pro features until the current period ends.
  • Grammarly's Terms say that at the end of the billing cycle the account converts to a Free subscription and future payments are cancelled.

Common problems

  • No Cancel Subscription button. You may be signed in to a different account, or you bought through the App Store (Grammarly Support).
  • You can't get into the paid account. Contact Grammarly Support.
  • You expected a partial refund. Grammarly Support says refunds are issued only if required by law; the Terms say there are no refunds for partially used periods (refund article; Terms 8.10).
  • App Store charge. Request any refund from Apple.
