In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Character.AI lists c.ai+ at $9.99/month or about $94.99/year, with Lite from ~$4.99/month (Confirm checkout). Free chat remains available with limits/ads. Cancel in account Settings on the web, or in Apple/Google Subscriptions if the store billed you (C.AI Help).
Deleting the app does not cancel c.ai+.

How to cancel Character.AI
Web subscription
- Sign in on character.ai.
- Open Settings → Subscription / c.ai+.
- Cancel and confirm the end date.
If Apple bills you
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Character.AI.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.
If Google Play bills you
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select Character.AI.
- Tap Cancel subscription, pick a reason and confirm.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Subscription shows canceled where you were billed.
- No new Character.AI / c.ai+ charge posts after that.

- Only deleted the app. Store renew continues.
