Pinecone price (October 2026) and how to cancel

In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Pinecone pricing lists Starter free, Builder at $20/month flat, and Standard with a $50/month minimum (usage billed PAYG above that; Enterprise $500/month minimum). Cancel in Console → Organization → Billing (Pinecone Docs).
Deleting indexes lowers usage; remove the payment method / downgrade to stop the minimum.
Organization owner required. Export vectors before delete.

How to cancel Pinecone
Downgrade then remove billing
- Sign in to the Pinecone Console as an org owner.
- Delete indexes / projects you no longer need.
- Open Organization → Billing.
- Downgrade to Starter / cancel paid plan and remove the card.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Plan shows Starter / no minimum charge.
- No new Pinecone invoice posts after that.

Common problems
- Only rotated an API key. Indexes still bill.
- Left Standard minimum on. $50 floor continues.
- Non-owner tried to cancel. Need permissions.
- Only deleted one namespace. Project may remain.
