Idle PAYG DBs can scale to zero cost when unused — Confirm Docs. Uninstalling SDKs does not delete DBs.

How to cancel Upstash
Delete then remove billing
- Sign in at console.upstash.com.
- Delete Redis / QStash resources you no longer need.
- Open Billing → remove payment method / cancel paid plan.
- Confirm usage drops to Free.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- No paid resources remain and no card is charged.
- No new Upstash invoice posts after that.
