Paramount+ price (October 2026) and how to cancel Paramount Plus

Paramount+ Help says to cancel on the same device or platform you used to sign up. Deleting the app does not cancel a store-billed plan.

How to cancel Paramount+

If you signed up on paramountplus.com

1. Go to paramountplus.com/account and sign in.
2. Click Cancel Subscription.
3. Follow the online prompts to confirm.
4. Note when access ends - Help says cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (or free trial).

If Apple bills you

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
2. Tap Subscriptions.
3. Tap Paramount+.
4. Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.

If Google Play bills you

1. On Android, open Subscriptions in Google Play (same Google Account that has the subscription).
2. Select Paramount+.
3. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.

If Amazon or Roku bills you

1. Amazon / Fire TV: cancel Paramount+ in your Amazon subscriptions or Fire TV subscription settings.
2. Roku: sign in at my.roku.com and unsubscribe from Paramount+.
3. Paramount+ cannot cancel a partner-billed plan from the website cancel link.

How to confirm it worked

You're done when:

• You finished the cancel prompts on paramountplus.com/account, or the partner (Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku) confirms the cancel.
• You still have access only until the end of the paid (or trial) period.

Common problems

• No Cancel Subscription on the account page. A partner bills you - cancel with Apple, Google Play, Amazon or Roku.
• You only deleted the app. That does not cancel store billing.
• You expected a refund for the rest of the month. Help says you are not refunded for fees already paid; access runs to the end of the period.
• Promotional multi-month offer. Help notes that if a promo covered more than one billing period, cancelling can end access at the end of the current billing period, not at the end of the whole promo.

Verified on official Paramount+ pages (2026-10-18): Essential $8.99/mo or $89.99/yr and Premium $13.99/mo or $139.99/yr on Paramount+ and 2026 plan price changes (new-subscriber rates from January 15, 2026); web cancel at paramountplus.com/account > Cancel Subscription; access until cancellation takes effect; no refund of fees already paid; cancel on the signup platform (Apple, Google Play, Amazon/Fire, Roku and others) (Help).

Not verified - left out: partner/platform surcharge amounts; goodwill mid-cycle refunds; press-only narratives beyond the official Help announcement.

Essential vs Premium

Premium adds SHOWTIME originals, broader live CBS/sports, downloads and higher video quality on select titles (see site footnotes). If you only need the ad-supported library and limited sports, Essential is the lower monthly price on Paramount+'s site.

Paramount+ or Peacock this month?

If you're keeping only one budget streamer, decide with a 30-day list:

1. Write the shows and sports you'll watch this month.
2. Keep Paramount+ if most are CBS/Paramount titles; keep Peacock if most are NBC/Peacock titles.
3. If neither list is long, cancel both and rejoin for the next premiere.
