Linear price (October 2026) and how to cancel
In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Linear's pricing page lists Basic at $10 per user/month and Business at $16 per user/month when billed yearly (monthly billing Confirm). Free remains available with limits. Cancel as a workspace admin in Settings → Administration → Billing (Linear Docs: billing).
Changes take effect at the end of the current billing month/year; Linear generally does not refund unused time. Suspending users can reduce seats; canceling moves the workspace toward Free.
Only admins can change billing - check your role first.

How to cancel Linear
On Linear
- Sign in at linear.app.
- Open Settings → Administration → Billing.
- Cancel or switch to Free and confirm the end date.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Billing shows Free / not renewing paid seats after the period.
- No new Linear seat charge posts after that.

Common problems
- Only left the workspace as a member. Owner billing continues.
- Suspended yourself but left other paid seats. Seats still bill.
- Expected a mid-year refund. Generally none.
- Emailed support instead of using Billing when self-serve works. Use admin Billing first.
