How to cancel HelloFresh (and the five-day deadline)
In the US (as of 2026-10-18), HelloFresh does not publish a single national dollar price; your per-serving and shipping costs appear in your account for your ZIP and plan. To cancel, log in, click your name (upper right), open Account Settings, scroll to Plan settings / Status, click Cancel Plan, and follow the prompts (HelloFresh: How to cancel).
Pause or cancel by 11:59 pm PST, 5 days before your next scheduled delivery. After that cutoff HelloFresh cannot process the cancel for that box, and you are responsible for charges on already processed orders.
If you only need a break, skip individual weeks from My Menu - the same five-day cutoff applies. Cancelling is separate from skipping.

How to cancel HelloFresh
Cancel the plan
- Log into your HelloFresh account on the website.
- Click your name in the upper right, then Account Settings.
- Scroll on the Plan settings page to Status and click Cancel Plan.
- Follow the prompts until you see the confirmation that the account is cancelled.
Skip a week instead
- Log in and open My Menu.
- Select the delivery day of the week(s) you want to skip.
- Click Skip Week. Use the same 11:59 pm PST / 5-day cutoff.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- HelloFresh shows a message confirming the account has been cancelled (or the week is skipped).
- You cancelled before the cutoff, so you are not charged for future boxes you did not want.
Source: HelloFresh.
Common problems
- Past the five-day cutoff. HelloFresh says it cannot process cancellations after the cutoff; you pay for already processed orders (HelloFresh).
- You only skipped one week. That does not cancel the plan - future weeks still ship unless you cancel or keep skipping.
- You expected a refund for a locked-in box. The cancel page says you remain responsible for charges on already processed orders.
What we checked
Verified on official HelloFresh pages (October 18, 2026): cancel path (name > Account Settings > Cancel Plan under Status), confirmation message, 11:59 pm PST / 5-days-before-delivery cutoff, responsibility for processed orders, Skip Week path, and reactivation note on How to cancel; no long-term commitment and the same cutoff on How it works.
Not verified - left out: any dollar per-serving or shipping figures (old page cited third-party reports); phone/chat cancel steps; app-only menu labels beyond the official web path.
The deadline that matters
HelloFresh: pause or cancel by 11:59 pm PST, five days before the next scheduled delivery so suppliers can be alerted. After that, cancellations for that box are not processed (HelloFresh; How it works).
Reactivate later
HelloFresh says you can reactivate your account when you want to return.
