In the US (as of 2026-10-18), beehiiv's pricing page lists Lite from $49/month billed annually (or $59/month billed monthly) and Pro from $95/month annually (or $109 monthly) at the up to 1,000 subscribers tier - prices rise with list size. Free supports up to 2,500 subscribers. Cancel publisher billing by downgrading to Free in Settings → Billing & Plan (beehiiv Help: change plan).
You keep paid features through the current cycle. This is not the same as canceling your readers’ paid subscriptions (those run through Stripe). Uninstalling anything does not cancel.
Export audience/posts before you drop below Free limits if your list is large.

How to cancel beehiiv
In beehiiv Billing & Plan
- Sign in at beehiiv.com.
- Open Settings → Billing & Plan.
- Choose Change / Downgrade to Free and confirm.
- If you also sell reader subscriptions, handle those in Stripe separately.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Billing & Plan shows Free / scheduled downgrade.
- No new beehiiv Lite/Pro charge posts after the period ends.

- Only unpublished the newsletter. Platform billing continues.
- Disabled reader paywalls but left Lite/Pro on. Platform plan is separate.
