Patreon membership price notes and how to cancel (October 2026)
In the US (as of 2026-10-18), each Patreon creator sets tier prices - there is no single Patreon-wide membership fee. Cancel as a patron in Settings → Memberships → View details → Cancel membership (Patreon Help: canceling).
Cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date to avoid renewal. Access rules depend on billing type (subscription / charge-upfront / per-creation). Uninstalling the app does not cancel.
Switch to your member profile before opening Settings if you also have a creator account.

How to cancel a Patreon membership
On Patreon.com
- Sign in as a member.
- Open Settings → Memberships.
- Select the membership → View details → Cancel membership and confirm.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Memberships shows the creator membership cancelled / ending.
- No new charge from that creator posts after the rules for your billing type.

Common problems
- Only muted posts or left Discord. Billing can continue.
- Cancelled less than 24 hours before renewal. Next charge can still post.
- Expected all billing types to keep access until month-end. Per-creation/monthly non-upfront can end sooner.
- Cancelled while on creator profile. Switch to member profile first.
