Shopify price (October 2026) and how to cancel
In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Shopify's pricing page lists Basic at $39/month (or $29/month billed yearly), Grow at $105/$79, and Advanced at $399/$299, with Plus from about $2,300/month. New stores may see short promo trials - Confirm checkout. Cancel as the store owner in Settings → Plan → Cancel plan / deactivate store (Shopify Help: deactivate store).
The store usually stays active through the current billing cycle; pending app and transaction fees can still bill. Uninstalling the Shopify app does not cancel the plan.
Export orders/products first - deactivating can lock you out of the admin until you reactivate.

How to cancel Shopify
In Shopify Admin
- Sign in as the store owner at admin.shopify.com.
- Open Settings → Plan.
- Choose Cancel plan / Deactivate store and confirm (password / 2FA).
- Review pending charges and domain notes before you finish.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Plan shows canceled / store deactivating at period end.
- No new Shopify subscription charge posts after that.

Common problems
- Only paused themes. Plan still renews.
- Cancelled an app, not the Shopify plan. Check Settings → Plan.
- Staff account tried to cancel. Owner permission required.
- Expected apps to stop instantly. Pending app bills can still appear.
