In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Matomo pricing lists Cloud Business from about $26–$29/month at 50,000 hits (scales with traffic; annual saves about 2 months) and On-Premise Community free. Cancel in Matomo Cloud Account → Billing / Subscription (Matomo FAQ).
Removing the JS tracker lowers hits but does not cancel Cloud alone.
Cloud account owner required. Self-hosted Community has no Matomo Cloud bill.

How to cancel Matomo Cloud
In Cloud billing
- Sign in to Matomo Cloud as the owner.
- Open Account → Billing / Subscription.
- Cancel and confirm the end date.
- Remove the tracking code if you also want collection to stop.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Subscription shows canceled / ending.
- No new Matomo Cloud charge posts after that.
