Amazon Music Unlimited: how to cancel (October 2026)
In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Amazon Music Unlimited is the full-catalog add-on; Prime Music is a smaller catalog included with Prime. Current Unlimited list prices are shown in your Amazon Music Settings and on Amazon's Unlimited page (we could not load a stable public USD price table today). To cancel when Amazon bills you, go to Your Amazon Music Settings, open the Amazon Music Unlimited section, and select Cancel in Subscription Renewal details (Amazon Help: Cancel Your Amazon Music Unlimited Subscription).
You can keep listening until the plan ends. Already-paid fees are not refunded. Cancelling Unlimited does not cancel Amazon Prime.
Echo speakers can still open the Music app after you cancel; Unlimited-only catalog and features stop when the paid period ends.

How to cancel Amazon Music Unlimited
If Amazon bills you
- Open Your Amazon Music Settings and sign in.
- Go to the Amazon Music Unlimited section.
- Select Cancel in Subscription Renewal details (or choose pause if offered and eligible).
- Confirm the cancellation and note the date Unlimited access ends.
With Alexa (Amazon-billed)
- On an Echo or Alexa app session, say Alexa, cancel my Amazon Music Unlimited subscription.
- Confirm if Alexa asks. Recheck Music Settings afterward.
If Apple bills you
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Amazon Music.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.
If Google Play bills you
- On Android, open Subscriptions in Google Play (same Google Account that has the subscription).
- Select Amazon Music.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.
- Uninstalling the app does not cancel the Play subscription.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Music Settings shows Unlimited will not renew, with an access end date.
- You are not charged after that date.
- After the plan ends, Unlimited songs in your Library gray out and playback for those tracks stops (Amazon Help).
Common problems
- You cancelled Prime by mistake. Unlimited and Prime are separate. Cancel Unlimited in Music Settings only.
- Apple / Google / carrier billing. Amazon Help says cancel with that partner; Amazon cannot manage those renewals.
- Pause missing. Not available on annual plans, free trials, promotions or App Store / Play / carrier plans (Amazon Help).
- You expected a refund. Amazon Music Terms / Help: fees already paid are not refunded when you cancel.

Unlimited vs Prime Music
Canceling Unlimited does not cancel Amazon Prime. If Prime stays active, you keep the smaller Prime Music catalog.
Pause instead of cancelling
Eligible Amazon-billed monthly plans can pause; the pause starts at the end of the billing cycle and resumes automatically. Not available for annual, trial, promo or third-party-billed plans (Amazon Help).
Audiobooks note
Amazon Help: Individual Unlimited subscribers and Family plan account holders who pause or cancel lose access to their selected audiobook when the current billing cycle ends.
