In the US (as of 2026-10-18), YNAB's pricing page lists $14.99/month or $109/year (about $9.08/month), shareable with up to six people. Cancel in Account Settings → Cancel your subscription when you bought on ynab.com (YNAB cancellation policy; Help: manage subscription).
Access continues through the paid period. App-store purchases cancel in Apple/Google. The 34-day trial on ynab.com does not require a card - store trials may. Uninstalling the app does not cancel.
Cancel before renewal if you do not want another year charged.

How to cancel YNAB
In YNAB Account Settings
- Sign in at ynab.com.
- Open Account Settings.
- Scroll to Cancel your subscription and confirm.
- Note the access end date.
If Apple bills you
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap YNAB.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.
If Google Play bills you
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select YNAB.
- Tap Cancel subscription, pick a reason and confirm.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Account Settings shows no upcoming YNAB renewal.
- No new YNAB charge posts after the paid period.

- Only deleted the app. Billing continues.
- Cancelled on YNAB when Apple billed you. Use Apple.
- Expected an immediate mid-year refund. Access usually runs to period end.
